I have talked about discernment many times on this show but today I am going to question one of the widely popular books in Christianity today. I will say this, back in the early 1900’s psychology got a foothold in Christianity and while there are amazing pastors and institutions that are fighting back and trying to get back to what true biblical living and counseling was - the damage is widespread. We have to be very careful to bring everything back to the Bible. We also must question any techniques or methods and ask “where is this information from?” Many times it is just made up or based in psychology (which even leading psychologists will admit is not a TRUE science.) Of course I could go into even more on this but today I am talking about the 5 Love Languages. This book has helped cause so much damage in the Christian world today and I feel I need to address it.
