The church is standing on the precipice of something new, something great, a brand new age! He has given great promises our hearts; he has given promises of true prosperity: righteousness, abundant joy, peace, satisfaction, power! But now, as we stand on that precipice, like the spies who entered into the land of Canaan, like the Israelites on the bank of the Jordan river, we have to face the challenge - will we fight for his promises? Will we step out in faith? Will we cleave to Christ?
