Look beyond your expectations and see Jesus for who He really is—not who we’ve made Him out to be. The crowd celebrating Jesus' arrival missed the deeper meaning of what He came to do. They wanted a political savior, but Jesus came to bring something bigger—lasting peace, hope, and transformation. Just like in our own lives, misplaced expectations and poor communication can keep us from experiencing God fully. But when we reframe who God really is—trusting His higher ways, His goodness, and His faithfulness—we open ourselves to a deeper, more real relationship with Him. (Talk by Joshua Ott)
