In today's episode, I share a mythic story, "Inanna's Descent" that is said to be the oldest story ever written (around 2300 BCE) in Sumer, which occupied some of the land which is now Iraq. I read it in a book titled, "Ancient Map for Modern Birth" by visionary, artist, and birth professional Pam England, CNM, MA. Inanna was a woman of power - a warrior, a queen, a poet, and the priestess of seven temples. She goes on a journey and this is what captivated me and really got me to think about my own fertility journey and becoming a mother. I thought listening to this story will be of great guidance on how you think and move on your own journey to mommahood.
