The night Jesus was born in Bethlehem the angelic choir announced His birth to the hillside shepherds, and part of that heavenly declaration was the promise of peace on earth! The truth, however, was that the broken world, filled with hate and fallen humanity, could not offer that peace. It could only come through the child born that night.
