Writing about Paul’s admonition to the church of Colossae regarding family relationships, N.T. Wright mused that if we find Paul’s words of 3:18-4:1 to be anti-climactic after the description of the “sublime pristine worshipping church” in 3:12-17,  it is “perhaps a sign that we have not fully integrated belief and practice.” This Sunday we will consider the inspired instructions of Paul and learn how we can live “Christianly” in the place we are, and be ourselves in the Lord and help other members of the family truly be themselves in the Lord as well.
