Listen "NXT: Main eventers shine as Heatwave builds | AEW Forbidden Door 2025 not that forbidden"
Episode Synopsis
NXT Heatwave 2025 and AEW Forbidden Door 2025 both took major steps forward as main events were established and cards were built this week. Host Adam Silverstein opens by tackling the week across NXT [2:45] led by Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Je'Von Evans and Moose battling DarkState in a showcase of WWE's young talent. Jordynne Grace achieved some much-needed character development as Lash Legend and Nia Jax put on a big meaty banger, Jacy Jayne faced a war on two fronts, Joe Hendry picked up an easy win and Chelsea Green alongside Ethan Page remained hysterical. "The Silver King" then breaks down AEW [20:50], including Hangman Page goading MJF into a title challenge, Will Ospreay returning to set up a lights out steel cage match alongside Darby Allin and Hiroshi Tanahashi against Jon Moxley's Death Riders, Toni Storm backing Alex Windsor against Athena and Mercedes Mone, Christian Cage saving Adam Copeland, plus an overall look at AEW's storytelling and the not-so-forbidden lineup ahead.
