Episode Synopsis
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=gen-quimba/tnbiqltm Hello, Hive kitchen mates!! In this video, I will take on the ultimate kitchen challenge: cooking two iconic Filipino dishes AT THE SAME TIME!
On the one side, we have the sweet and fluffy Puto Cheese (a Filipino steamed rice cake, traditionally made from slightly fermented rice dough (galapong) that's available for ordering!
And on the other side, the comforting and deliciously sour Sinigang (a Filipino soup) for dinner!
Prepare for some multitasking, stories, and lots of good food!
ABOUT MY PUTO CHEESE (FOR ORDERS):
Soft, fluffy, and perfectly sweet!
Made with love and fresh ingredients every day.
Perfect for merienda and parties!
SINIGANG RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
Pork ribs / pork belly or what I used this time: PATA NANG BABOY (pork knuckle)
Pork broth cube (optional), I only used salt for additional taste.
Tomatoes, onions
Gabi (taro root) for thickness
Sitaw, Kangkong (two of the most common and beloved vegetables in Filipino cuisine)
Sinigang mix
