Listen "Autism Guidance: Moving Up on the Spectrum - Understanding Neuroplasticity and Limitless Brain Development"
Episode Synopsis
Bob Doman is the Founder and Director of the National Association for Child Development and the NACD Foundation, which were started in 1979, and the NACD International Academy. NACD operates chapters around the United States and internationally and works with families from all over the world, including those who are unable to reach an NACD chapter via Skype. Bob was part of the team that first pioneered the understanding of the sensory component of autism and moved autism from the realm of a psychiatric issue to that of a neurodevelopmental problem. Bob has been at the forefront of understanding autism and developing interventions to address and remediate issues associated with those on the autism spectrum. Bob and his international staff have designed and supervised over fifteen million hours of Targeted Developmental Intervention programs. Bob is an innovator in neurological, perceptual, cognitive, and educational interventions and has created not only hundreds of specific techniques and methodologies, but an entirely new paradigm for education and maximizing human potential. Bob and NACD are redefining potential. Visit [email protected] or call 801-621-8606. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
