This is the second time in this summer sermon series that we will consider the Second Coming of Jesus. This time however, we will consider not what happens on the “other side”, but that Jesus’ promise of returning for us is sure and certain. Our hope for the future is based in a promise from the Bible that Christ will return. Our hope for the future is based in how trustworthy are Christ’s words “I will come back and take you to be where I am”. Do we have a sure and certain “Hope for the Future?” Yes. And we do, because Christ’s promises are always sure and certain and He alone is then our “Hope for the Future”, both now and always!
