In this week’s edition of Gateway to Africa, we feature Nicolas Funda, the chief ranger at the Kruger National Park talking about the need to continue the fight against elephant poaching despite population growth of the species. He was speaking at launch of Project Ivory, a platform through which SanParks mobilises resources to continue fighting poaching. We also feature the former English cricket player, Kevin Peterson who donated R3 million towards nature conservation early this year . He tells us why he decided to get involved.
