Zoe life refers to “The God Kind of Life.” But what does that mean, exactly? Ever notice how Jesus doesn’t say, “I came so you could go to heaven?” He says, “I came to give you life, and life more abundant.” And yes, “life” in the Greek is Zoe. Zoe life is an overwhelming awareness of God’s divine nature IN us - and that Zoe life will naturally overflow in our daily lives. You can’t give away something that you don’t possess. Or don’t REALIZE that you possess. Here’s where we start to panic. After all, if I’m supposed to do something, especially something, ahem, out of my comfort zone, I can come up with ALL KINDS of excuses why I won’t be able to do that. When Jesus saves us, he also saves us from excuses. Colossians 2:9-10 says, “For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.” Nothing missing, nothing broken. We're not waiting on God to give us something - he already has. We walk in divine health. We don’t bounce from crisis to crisis, or miracle to miracle, just to see us through.
