Listen "How To Pray | EP 27"
Episode Synopsis
Today, we’re diving into a topic that’s so important in our walk with Christ: how Jesus taught us to pray. A couple of weeks ago, I picked up an Apologetics Bible and a book called The Holiness of God by R.C. Sproul. From these resources, I’ve selected a few passages to help guide our conversation on the power and purpose of prayer. As believers, we’re called to be people of prayer not for the approval of others, but to glorify and exalt God. Prayer isn’t just something we do; it’s something we become. It’s our way of connecting with the Father, of communicating with Him, and of allowing Him to purify and transform us. Prayer humbles us, shifts our hearts, and keeps us aligned with His will. In the Christian life, prayer is not optional it’s a command. Jesus Himself said, “Whenever you pray, pray like this…” Prayer is an invitation to sit in God’s presence, to wait on Him, communicate with him, and to listen for His voice.
