Have you ever had to wait? Who likes to wait? Waiting sometimes feels like punishment. Have you ever said, "If I had only waited and been patient?" Especially when you've waited and you are disappointed afterwards. That puts pressure on the next waiting opportunity (what if it's like last time?). Waiting can be difficult if you are impatient. If you are going to be effective, you are going to have to learn how to wait, not just waiting, but being patient while you wait. How much further could you be down the road, if you would have waited? How many hard aches and pain could you have avoided, if you would have been patient? You cannot expect to endure the waiting period without patience. There will be periods in life that you will  have to wait, but not knowing why or how long is not half as important, as knowing who you are waiting for.
