Corinth was a city of diversity in many ways, including its experiences of brokenness. Early Christians brought the good news of Jesus there, but over time, the church stopped seeking ways to bring light to the darkness. Instead, the church began to blend in.The book of 1 Corinthians is a letter by the Apostle Paul, written to address the mess the Corinthian church was in. It was and is a letter of correction, direction and love in view of God's good plans for His people. This letter is for each of us — deeply loved but flawed Christians.
