Featured on today's episode is "Award Winning Author, Rower & Motivational Speaker" Mr. Arshay Cooper. His novel, which later evolved into a documentary "A Most Beautiful Thing," is a true story that highlights the wonderful aspects of rowing and the narrative of the first Black American High School Rowing Team. Arshay's struggles and trauma of childhood life in the West Side of Chicago, is something that lives with him forever. His goal is to "Pay it Forward" and to make a mark in the rowing community for future generations. We are absolutely thrilled to have him spotlighted on our very first episode.
