Students and staff of the BA Film Studies programme in the School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology discuss all aspects of the ever-changing cinematic world, with occasional guests.
FILM MUSIC... AND MUSIC IN FILM. Part 1!
Spike Knight from our first year group joins Martin to talk about favourite film scores. Martin surprisingly (!) picks a Marvel movie to review, and Spike picks a Star Wars episode. We also discuss listening to scores in a 'standalone' way... Spike publicises some Oldham-based brass bands... and we share an admiration for The Mandalorian. It was great fun and, by the way, happy Christmas to all those who celebrate it, and have a great break to everybody. We will be back in 2021.
