Clay Steakley a Nashville native (unicorn). He is an songwriter, writer, musician, movie and theater actor known for his work in Walk the Line (2005), Deja Vu (2006) and Elvis (2005). Steakley is also known as a member of The Lounge Flounders (Mercury Records/Kudzu Records) and then with Canebrake Quartet.  He has also recorded and toured as a sideman with artists including Matthew Ryan, Kate York, and Strays Don’t Sleep.
