Rising to shine looks like meeting needs, even when it’s inconvenient or uncomfortable.This parable challenges our comfort and calls us to act. It reminds us that compassion without action is sentiment, not mercy. True mercy costs something—time, energy, pride, resources. And yet, every act of mercy reflects the heart of our Savior, who stopped for us in our brokenness.To live like the Good Samaritan is to live with eyes wide open, hearts softened by grace, and hands ready to serve.
