On this episode of Happy Healthy Meals, I talk about my meal plan for the week, a few daily relaxation ideas that can be 10 minutes or less, and I’ll tell you about my new tool that Is helping me get better sleep.
It is through REST that your body recovers, repairs and rebuilds itself. Your workouts tear your muscles, then at night, your body rebuilds those tears to make bigger, leaner muscles. (Which replaces fat! Yay!) It is through REST that your mind clears itself, makes sense of things and creates connections and space for amazing, new ideas and thoughts. It is through REST that your whole body gets ready to take on the next challenge.
Whatever,  however you decide it works for your life and your family situation,  take some time to relax together, and then a little by yourself, too.
