April 3, 2024 | For week one of the new series "Influencer", freshmen Adelaide Fabacher and Matthew Morris discuss how God can use you to influence others for His glory. Teaching out of Exodus 17:8-13, Adelaide uses Aaron and Hurr's journey as a reminder to be that Godly friend because we never know how big of an influence we can have when God works in and through us.Reading from Jonah chapters 3 and 4, Matthew highlights God's mercy in Jonah's story. God could've easily punished both Jonah and the Ninevites. But God had mercy on them and worked through Jonah to be a witness in Nineveh. We are like Jonah and the Ninevites because we sin and disobey God. But God can still use us, even when we disobey.
