In this episode, we’re going to explore the power of faith.  The kind of faith that turns the impossible into the possible.  It’s easy to feel like our personal battles are the most challenging we’ve ever faced, and in many ways, they are.  But we can take comfort in knowing that humanity has faced trials since time immemorial.
Now, there’s a paradox in carrying our own weight.  It’s
a clear Bible teaching, yet we’re also called to encourage one another.  And that’s what we’re here for; to face our
battles, not alone, but with the support of each other and the strength that comes from above.
The enemy wants to wear us down, to gain leverage and steer us off the straight and narrow path.  But we must remember, it’s not just about the obstacles we see; it’s also about the battle against evil.   I know that we might not see the end of the race, but we will finish, and we will finish victoriously.
As we delve into today’s discussion, we’ll reflect on the Apostle Paul’s experience with the thorn in his flesh, as described in 2 Corinthians 12.  We’ll learn how God’s power is made perfect in our weakness, and how, through Christ, we can do all things through His strength that works within us.
So, as we prepare to dive into the depths of faith, love, peace, we recognize that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil.  And we are determined to use our battles as opportunities to grow, to become more resilient, and to train ourselves to be more like Christ.
