Listen "Church Family Magic - Part 2 EP 165"
Episode Synopsis
Jesus said, "A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another" (John 13:34). This commandment is not a burden but a beautiful invitation to live in harmony and mutual support.
Unity is not just a lofty ideal; it's a practical, everyday commitment to acts of kindness and selflessness. Whether it's in our relationships with our spouses, children, friends, or our entire congregation, unity is built through small, consistent acts of love and support.
We, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Gal. 6:2). This is our calling. We help each other when the load becomes too heavy. We are there without expecting anything in return. It's about creating a flow of generosity and compassion that naturally springs from a heart aligned with Christ's teachings.
Proverbs 11:25 says, "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." When we give selflessly, we receive blessings in return, often in ways we never expected. It's like planting a garden. Some seeds flourish, others may not, but our focus should be on nurturing those that do.
Let's embrace this journey together, cultivating a spirit of unity and love through our actions. As we serve one another, we reflect the heart of Jesus, who came not to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28).
