You may have heard of Upton Sinclair's The Jungle, but have you heard of 100,000,000 Guinea Pigs? Food regulations plays an important role in our health and safety. In a capitalistic system where money is highest virtue, it was only a matter of time before something unethical happened. And several unethical things did happen. Thankfully, several expose revealed these awful practices from the food and drug companies, and regulations stepped in the early and mid1900s to prevent these dangerous products from reaching the consumers. What inspired these changes?
