Inside / outside is a travel, physical and emotional. It’s about the sensations that we’re going through and experiencing in everyday lives, in public transport, riding a bicycle, in the street. Sound is connected to sensations.In this work, we are taking the fact that the external sounds impact us, our feeling ; making us feeling happy, smooth, agitated, stressed, oppressed. The metro’s or ambulance buzzer, the rhythm of the metro, birds sounds, receiving the “signals” of the external environment.We wanted to play with utopia and dystopia, to create confusion in the listener’s mind. We don’t know if it’s something chaotic like a war and everything falling down or if everything’s okay and it’s just a mental travel.
