Listen "The Sloppy Mimic in the Wood"
Episode Synopsis
The work we produced with the group is a listening experience based on a horror story, drawing on the found-footage genre to capture a mood. The latter is part of an “archive” style of media, but with invented stories, offering an experience that seems to have been captured on the spot. This approach enabled us to capture particular sounds, and use them to benefit the overall mood of the podcast.Source BBC sound effects:Atmospheres: Norfolk Broads, Daytime, Wind Through Trees, Waterf - Atmosphere: Norfolk Broads, Daytime, wind through trees, waterfowl, etc. (recommended for lowlevel use).Forest Atmosphere - Strong wind in trees becoming less windy at 1m25s.Trees - Rooks in the tree tops - 1972 (1B4, reprocessed)Animals - Dragon's footsteps.
