In this episode, Daniel interviews Dylan Alexander, a KPMG MADA student at University of Georgia, who is completing his fully-funded Masters in Accounting before starting full-time work with KPMG after graduation. 
Dylan answers questions like:
1. What were you involved in on campus as an undergraduate?
2. How did you get here? Did you have any internships prior to this program?
3. In these internships, how much of what you did was things you learned in school versus things you learned on the job?
4. What was the most applicable class you took in undergrad for your career?
5. How important is it for someone looking to work for a big four accounting firm to have an internship while in college?
6. How important is it to pick the right undergraduate university to set yourself up for success with recruitment? Here’s an opportunity for you to also pitch both of your universities.
7. What is the recruiting process like for the big four accounting firms?
8. Why did you pick KPMG?
9. What do you think you did to qualify yourself for this program? If someone wanted to also be in your position to have their masters paid for by a big four accounting firm in a program like the one you are in, what would you recommend they do to set themselves apart?
10. How important was GPA to you in undergrad - has that changed in graduate school?
11. Would you consider yourself to be a good student? Were you the same type of student in high school or did things change for you once you started in college?
12. What would you say to a high school student that is considering accounting as a career? What do you like the most about your career and what do you find the most challenging about it?
13. Are there any key decision points you made and any key people who have helped you get to this point that you would like to acknowledge or thank?
