It is believed that about fifty percent of pregnancies are unplanned. Such was Terri Baxter's  pregnancy as she was in college. From a Christian home, she did not want to embarrass her family, had no support from her boyfriend and so chose to abort her baby. Like many other women, she was not informed of the physical as well as emotional trauma that would ensue. And even now, many years later, her life-altering cancer has been linked to her abortion.
