Is a graduate of the University of Dayton (2020) and University of Kentucky, with an MS and PhD in Experimental Psychology. Specifically, she studies Behavioral Neuroscience and Pharmacology. Her research focuses on the excitotoxic effects of alcohol on the hippocampus, and how prolonged alcohol exposure impairs neurogenesis and overall cell survival in this brain structure. She is now a lecturer in the Psychology department at the University of Kentucky, and loves getting to work with aspiring researchers and clinicians.
