Mike Pfile joins the e2e podcast to discuss teaching digital literacy.
Mike Pfile is a middle school teacher in IL where he teaches 6th-grade social studies, 6th-grade Collaboration and Leadership and a 7th-grade Digital Literacy class. Mike is relatively new to teaching, this is his 6th year at Edison. Before teaching Mike worked in engineering and radio which gives him the opportunity to have different experiences to bring to the classroom. His 7th-grade Digital Literacy class utilizes those experiences and engages kids with an honest, real-world look at issues and topics related to technology and that responsibility.
