In our second episode, we sit down together to discuss a few hot topics surrounding youth athletes. This episode aims to inform and educate parents, coaches, and athletes, on what the research tells us about early specialisation and what happens during key adolescent growth periods. We know there a plenty of "don'ts" surrounding the young athlete but this episode starts to explain the "why" and provide some food for thought around how you are planning your young athlete's weekly schedule.
