Faith in Christ means that you put your belief and total trust in what Jesus did on the Cross. God’s Righteousness is imputed, which simply means it is freely given and cannot be earned, purchased, or sold. There is nothing you must do outside of Faith in Christ to enjoy the blessings of the Gospel. Christ does not need to appear in physical form for you to enjoy your Salvation. There is no need for Christ to descend from heaven, or to rise again from the dead to impart forgiveness or holiness to you. The work is finished, and it is important to understand that you must forsake everything that seeks to place you into bondage, especially when Christ has already set you free.
