Listen "Episode 89 - You Had Juan Job"
Episode Synopsis
Matt Greer and David Forrest are joined by Reiss Haldane and Jamie McDonald to discuss our last gasp 1-0 defeat to Raith Rovers, We discuss the game, our shape, how it leaves us looking for the play offs and whether we'll even make the play offs.
Matt then chatted to Neil Cowan from Jags For Good, an independently launched and separate from the Club which is run by a group of fans – that aims to mobilise the Thistle fanbase in support of social justice causes in Maryhill and across Glasgow.
We then finish off by chatting game shows from the great (Supermarket Sweep) to the shite (Lightning).
Jags for Good have launched with two activities. The first activity is an online fundraising drive, with all donations being used to purchase season tickets that will be distributed to local charity Maryhill Integration Network (MIN). MIN work to bring together communities in Maryhill – particularly people who are asylum seekers, refugees and migrants – and to support them in their lives. You can donate here: https://gofund.me/e92356f2
The second activity is a donation drive for Glasgow North West Foodbank at Saturday’s home match against Dunfermline. Volunteers will be located at various points outside Firhill to collect food donations. The foodbank are currently in particular need of tinned or boxed potatoes, tea, rice pudding/custard, tinned fish, jam, sugar, shower gel & shampoo, longlife milk, deodorant, instant coffee, shaving foam & razors and cooking oil.
