This week on Dr. P on The Pod, Dr. P gets a real-life account from Tanya, John, and Janelle Asiedu on the loneliness and trauma caused by contracting the COVID-19 disease. Each family member describes their experience and how they battled through. Tanya reveals the extreme loneliness she felt being in isolation. Janelle, her daughter, is married and pregnant with her first child, recounts how anxious she was about the virus and its potential effects on her pregnancy. John, her father, is a medical professional who also became a victim to the coronavirus. He shares his symptoms and pleads for us to listen to the recommendation of the public health officials and stay home to slow the spread of COVID-19.
