Google built a closed loop, too closed
I loved Gmail.
I loved Google.
I loved Gsuite.
I now love #googleworkspace .
BUT.
I've now realised that the love has ended and we're just going to be good friends.
What's changed?
We've become un separable, if I want to do anything I have to take you with me, If I want a customer I need to use you.
But the more successful you became the more you made me compete against myself.
So I'm going to keep using you but I'm going to use you in a laser-guided way.
Just like Airbnb, I'm going to build a brand marketing system and use #ppcadvertising to move the dial as and when I need to.
It might be slower to start with, but given time a brand marketing system will allow people to find me when they want to find me, and where they want to find me.
A brand marketing system is not about funnels.
A brand marketing system is not about one part being better than the other.
A brand marketing system lives forever, without the need to be driven by an algorithm.
Slow down, and take a look around your digital marketing strategy, if you stopped spending would you stop?
If you did stop it would indicate you haven't yet invested in your brand marketing system.
