This journey mirrors the dynamic evolution of the music world itself, transitioning from the analog days of MiniDiscs and vinyl to the cutting-edge of AI-driven sound creation and performance.
A true student of evolution, DJ UZO has mastered every era of DJ technology while staying rooted in the art of connection. His music blends Afro House, House, Amapiano, and Soulful Electronic textures, bridging continents and cultures with every set.
Throughout his career, DJ UZO has shared stages with many iconic artists, including Terry Hunter, Gene Farris, Paul Johnson, Gene Hunt, Julius The Mad Thinker, Mark Farina, Francis Mercier, Roger Sanchez, and Sofi Tukker, among others. A recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award (2017), DJ UZO’s contributions to art, education, and community building remain central to his mission. His journey has also enabled him to contribute to the Library of Congress and the African American Museum of History and Culture in Washington, DC.
