In this experience, we explore 1 Samuel 15:1-4, 8, and 18, where Saul receives a clear command from God—to completely destroy the Amalekites. Though he carries out the battle, he disobeys by sparing King Agag and the best livestock. Samuel’s rebuke in verse 22 drives home a powerful truth: “To obey is better than sacrifice.” Partial obedience is still disobedience.
