BEER GOES WITH EVERYTHING

I'm just a good ol boy with a few friends in high places
And last week one of the aforementioned got a suite for some horse races
Guess I faux pas'd up ordering prime rib and white wine
Cuz them stiff-necked folks looked down their noses shocked and mortified
Well I don't have a PhD in the science of grape-ology
But I know one libation meant for any food I'm tastin'

From lobster tails to chicken wings
It's the universal bev'rage
Gives taste buds all their lev'rage
It's mellower than merlot
And bolder than a bottle of Chablis

There's lots of theories speculatin' how a drink with hops and barley
Could pair so perfectly with any food at any party
But I'm of the opinion all the magic's in the foam
It turns bad flavors upside down and makes good ones explode
And if you spill it on your clothes there's no need for swearing
Beer's a neutral color; matches anything you're wearing
