At the root of human conflict is our fundamental misunderstanding of who we are. The illusion that we are isolated beings, unconnected to the rest of the universe and each other, has led us to view the “outside” world and others with hostility. Breaking this taboo can be extremely objectionable in society as a whole yet questioning them will help us grow and understand why they exist in the first place and what we can do to better things.

Lessons of love, understanding, choices, perseverance, and adaptability are some of the themes on 'The Taboo Of All Things'.

This is an EP of reflection.

The ambient and weaving formations of the layers in each track are representations of the elements of the environment around us each more beautiful than the next especially when they are interlaced. The rawness and unpredictability of some of the sounds is to show that nothing is ever the same twice.

This is Toronto-born Demsky’s second solo EP. Now residing in Tokyo, Demsky takes a lot of his inspiration from artists like Tycho, Lemon Jelly and the beat-making, post-rock scenes that he’s heavily involved in supporting Tomy Wealth.

現在 東京住まいのDemskyは、ソロではTycho, Lemon Jelly, などのサウンドメイカーに影響を受けつつ、またTomy Wealthのライブメンバーとしても活躍中。

《EP概要》
人間の軋轢の根底は、我々が自分を勘違いする事に基づいています。
人々は個であり、初めは皆そこから始まります。
外界と繋がっていないそれぞれの人々は、「外」のものを敵として扱ってしまう傾向があります。
この禁忌に対して異を唱える際、世の中からは反発を受けるでしょう。
しかし継続をすれば、この現状の原因は何なのか、どうしたら改善出来るのか、それはしだいに明確となるでしょう。
愛の教え・理解・選択・忍耐・臨機応変・がこのアルバム「世の禁忌」のテーマ、つまりこれは反省のEPです。
各トラックのアンビエンスが織り成すレイヤーはだんだんと変化していきます、それは現状より美しくなる環境変化に希望を込めて。
また、予測不可能な音の変化は、世の出来事は二度と繰り返す事が無いという事を音で表しています。
