Listen "Waves "
Episode Synopsis
Waves, a poem I wrote while I was serving in the US Navy. I wrote this while I was on deployment in 2006. It talks about what happened to me. This song talks about my chain of command. This song talks about the victim blaming/shaming, emotional abuse and retaliation that I went through. There is no place for rape in the US military or in society. It's beyond time that this stop. You can about my story in my book, The Boulders in My Life that Shaped My Journey. I am joined by my dear friend and fellow Navy Veteran JS Worldbridger.
