As children of God and brothers and sisters in Christ, it IS our responsibility to speak the truth in love, and hold one another accountable to the Word of God that we may grow in every way into Christ. God judges the world (those who are outside) and He has given us children of God delegated authority to judge (hold accountable) believers, (those who are inside.) He has given us authority over To trample over serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. We lay hands on the sick and they recover. We cast out demons and they must flee. We use this authority to help one another as well as those who are bound and ensnared in the tactics and schemes of the enemy. The Word of God is final authority and judge and as brothers and sisters in Christ we use the Word to hold each other accountable.14 But you should continue following the teaching you learned. You know it is true, because you know you can trust those who taught you. 15 You have known the Holy Scriptures[b] since you were a child. These Scriptures are able to make you wise. And that wisdom leads to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is given by God. And all Scripture is useful for teaching and for showing people what is wrong in their lives. It is useful for correcting faults and teaching the right way to live. 17 Using the Scriptures, those who serve God will be prepared and will have everything they need to do every good work.~2 Timothy 3:14-17
