Carrie Hopper is the co-host, along with Laura Ockerman, of the popular comedy paranormal podcast History of a Haunting for the last 4.5 years.She began training as a paranormal investigator in 2019, getting her feet wet at the Phelps Dodge Hospital in Ajo, AZ. In the 5 years since then she has investigated iconic locations such as Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, Yuma Territorial Prison, and St. Albans Sanitarium. She’s investigated and consulted on numerous private residence cases, and trains new investigators now herself.Carrie is an evidential medium focusing on psychometry, remote viewing, and claircognizance. She uses her abilities solely during her paranormal investigations. While not a member of any paranormal team she is frequently called in to assist, review, and debunk occurrences by other groups. Carrie primarily investigates under the History of a Haunting Podcast name, as recap episodes are frequently done after a big location investigation.She resides in North Carolina, and is the owner of This Little Light of Mine Skincare - a bold new bath and body line infused with crystal and Reiki energy with the help of accomplished Reiki Master, Erin Bush.
