(1) 'Something's Coming!' -- Old Testament Expectancy (1 Peter 1:8-12; Jer 31:31-33; Ezek 36:26-27; 47:1-12); (2) 'SomeONE's Coming!' -- Jesus' announcement of the Coming of the Holy Spirit (John 1:33; John 7:2-8,37-39; Mat 13:33; Acts 1:5-8); (3) 'This is That!' -- The Event of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4,16-18; 8:12-17; 10:44-48; 19:1-6); (4) 'All That is for This!' -- The whole purpose of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is to prepare us for eternity (1 Cor 2:9-12; Rev 19:6-8; 21:1-2,9-11; 22:17).
