"Who I'll Become" takes a more serious tone. It talks about my fears, my-at times-shakey mental state, and my long-time battle with depression. I struggled really hard to record a song that would capture my down-state, but I realized it wasn't for lack of words, but my shame and insecurity barring me from finishing the song. Being isolated for the majority of the past year hasn't helped me that much, but I'm grateful to say that I have friends, loved ones, and resources that remind me that I'm not alone, that I am known, that I am worthwhile, and that my song should be sung.
