This week the Ernests attempted to build up a list of which core values should guide our decisions, e.g:Universal Justice (versus Tribalism/Elitism): everyone should be subject to the same rulesAccountable AuthoritiesHealthy Trust (versus Blind Faith)Appropriate Consequences (neither Cruel nor Lax)The Truth (versus Privacy, at least for the Powerful)While it may be difficult to make these value absolutes, we generally agreed the world would be better if there was more of this and less of their opposite.Bruce then questioned how we would create "unit tests" for these values, which Prabhakar suggested would be an excellent question for next week.
