Signs went unseen, my mom ,a mother of four by the time she was 21, my siblings lost in their lives. I reflect on the lasting scars, disconnecting healthy touch from predatory, only finding safety with my kids. I wonder how many girls he targeted, how he knew my mom wasn’t around.
