Episode Synopsis

Daily Voice Devotional with Niyi AdekunleMonday 26th MayThe Works of Faith – Part 1All this month, we’ve been discussing faith—its foundation, how it comes, what feeds and drains it. As conclude, we want to discuss the works of faith—how faith is expressed in action. When we think of faith at work, our minds often jump to the spectacular: healing the sick, raising the dead or major breakthroughs. These are indeed powerful displays, and Hebrews 11 talks about some of those things. However, faith is not only meant for spectacular events. God gave us faith for daily living. It’s not just for miracles—it’s for how we work, live, speak, decide, and relate every single day.Habakkuk 2:2–4 (NKJV), 2 Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision. And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. 4 “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.“The just shall live by his faith.” This powerful truth appears four times in the Bible—in Habakkuk, Romans, Galatians, and Hebrews—emphasizing its importance. Faith isn’t a one-time act; it’s a lifestyle. To live by faith means to trust and obey God in every area of life. It's about living in line with His Word in every situation. The proud live on their own terms and fall away. Scripture also tells us that “whatever is not of faith is sin.” This means our actions, big or small, must be rooted in faith. Real works of faith aren’t just public miracles—they are found in private simple obedience of everyday life. This is where the true work of faith really starts.God bless you, enjoy your day!
