Listen "Grief"
Episode Synopsis
Hosts Chris and Anthony discuss losing young people from their programs and the grief experienced (and continue to experience) from their deaths. They also talk about how it's ok to 'not be ok,' and how to host conversations with other young people about loss. On this episode, we also have a special guest, Myra Sack, bereaved mother and founder of Havi Gear and E-motion. The three host an honest, raw, yet beautiful conversation on how movement heals and how together, we don't move on, we move with those who've we lost. To learn more about E-motion, visit their website at www.emotion-mc.org. Learn how the healing-centered sports approach can make sport a vehicle for systemic change.
