OK this was absolutely brilliant! I love all these podcasts, but this one.. wow! So Mary is a champion Muay Thai fighter. Late last year she won the title fight.. the champion of the America's in her weight. I am so overawed and interested in that. We talk about what it means to fight and dedicate your life to fighting. We also talk about the importance of the team around you, as well as the culture around fighting. It was super interesting and eye opening for me.We also talk about Mary's love for Self Defense Family, the band she has played in for a long while and her dreams of the future making music with them.
