We chatted about how Hurtigruten stands behind its promise of sustainable cruising. How the changes they have made may seem small, but they have a large impact on the environment.

The Hurtigruten Roald Amundsen ship is an entire Green Technology ship. They have made sure that this ship (and all of their ships) do not harm the areas they travel in.   
.
One of their ships does not even use fuel! It is fully shore-powered!  Hurtigruten was the first ship to eliminate all single-use plastics.  . Hurtigruten makes a HUGE impact on the areas they visit. Kristin mentioned how they provided much-needed supplies to the area school. They also invited the school children to come on board to use their science center.

Travelling with Hurtigruten is an excellent way to make a positive difference in the world and the areas you visit.
